Getting it right the first time with Swift-Cut!

When the first cut on the new Swift-Cut Pro table turned out this brilliantly, it’s no surprise that Llano Senior High School students are excited about their upcoming metal fab classes.

This excellent design started as a partial drawing from one of their students. Swift-Cut Support Technician, Sophia Valentine used the Auto Trace function in the pre-loaded Solid Edge software to convert the artwork to a DXF and scale the file.

Sophia then helped train John Dan Tartar and used the student, Skylar Brown’s file to cut out of 14G steel on their new Swift-Cut Pro 48 using Finecut consumables.

The detail on this design is wonderful and shows the precision that can be achieved with Swift-Cut capabilities.
