Swift-Cut distributor Kleineberg Maschinen installed a Swift-Cut Pro 2500 DD plasma cutting table in Austria, successfully delivering, installing, and commissioning all on the same day.
The system (ordered at the end of November, delivered on 18th December) is equipped with a Hypertherm Powermax 65 SYNC™ plasma power source and a Sideros ECO 4 dust collector. But even with such an advanced specification, the complete setup was operating within hours of arrival.
The customer’s first cut from 2mm stainless steel, using nitrogen as both the cutting and shielding gas, exceeded all expectations – clean, precise edges and outstanding cut quality. They told Kleineberg Maschinen:
“It’s the best Christmas present ever!”
The compact nature of the installation is impressive as the cut quality. Even with a full plasma and extraction setup, the system takes up a surprisingly small footprint within the factory. This is a key advantage of Swift-Cut tables, which are designed to maximise cutting capacity while minimising floor space requirements.
Unlike many cutting systems, Swift-Cut tables can be positioned from both the front and the side, offering greater flexibility during installation. Loading is also simplified, as the gantry parks fully at the rear of the machine, completely clear of the cutting area. This allows unrestricted access from all sides of the table, improving material handling efficiency and operator safety.
This installation demonstrates not only the performance of the Pro 2500 DD, but also how Swift-Cut’s compact and practical design makes it an ideal solution for manufacturers where space, speed of installation, and workflow efficiency matter.
