Newsletter – June 2019
Foreword
We are fast approaching the half year mark and have decided to introduce a newsletter to keep you our trusted partners better informed about activities, actions and developments. As a truly global business operating in more than 35 countries, we will share knowledge with you in new and innovative ways.
Key for any business is the web site which we have improved and made it easier for customers to log enquiries, in fact in the first 4 months of 2019 we took 668 enquiries which we distributed to you for further qualification.
Behind the scenes we have been working on a range of video marketing and product How To videos. The first of these videos is a new Swift-Cut corporate video aimed at reinforcing our product and brand image, this shows our facilities and the latest tables in production. Further product specific overview videos are being worked on and should be ready in the next month. Finally, and most importantly for our new and existing customers are the How To videos showing how to undertake a number of basic machine procedures and operation, this will ensure our customers have the right level of machine understanding and reduce the level technical support required on basic matters.
The year started well for Swift cut against a backdrop of mixed market conditions across Europe and the UK, some of which is related to the Brexit effect, we also acknowledge that we have presented a number of technical challenges with our pro-series product, you our partners have supported us in resolving these issues, significant improvements have already been achieved and it is expected that we will introduce ongoing machine enhancements in the coming weeks.

With soft sense pneumatic plate referencing providing a speedier operation and a new CNC controller enabling improved DTHC – just two of the many improvements that ensure Swift-Cut is always leading from the front in terms of smart cutting solutions and innovation.
With the new DTHC system (digital height control) and the DCC (dynamic cutting control) a higher cutting quality and increase consumable life is achieved than other systems that incorporate the same power source,
Cut recovery is possible on the Mk4 due the encoded stepper motors and linear rails, intelligent cut recovery allows a user to return to the original position in the event of a loss of arc or other cutting error, additionally plate alignment means that the plate nest can be aligned to the actual plate even if it is not parallel to the rails. The alignment is easy with the pro range standard laser aid for fast positioning.
