Swift-Cut software a hit with Tubro

New Swift-Cut customer in Enschede, Netherlands – Tubro Filter, Air and Incineration Technology has been a supplier of extraction plants for the wood processing, plastics processing and paper processing industries for more than thirty-five years. They have just purchased their first Swift-Cut CNC plasma machine, the PRO 3000 with Practicam Software and they’re well on their way, releasing its full potential almost immediately.

Their old machine was too large and the software too dated to cope with the complex cutting needs that would enable them to extend their drainage solutions. Taking ownership of their Swift-Cut table means that Tubro are now able to extend their offering, and now supply a solution for the sustainable heating and generation of electricity mbv pellets and biomass.

Easy-to-use software

Air and heat extraction is a complex operation, with the infrastructure having to be able to bend and shape according to the design of its location. The PractiCam software gives Tubro access to an extensive library of bends and manifolds, sending the cutting codes directly from the software to the cutting machine. This is a huge advantage to a company manufacturing challenging parts and has enabled them to speed up their service delivery whilst expanding their offering.

Compact and simple

The Swift-Cut Pro3000 table is the compact machine they were searching for, with its easy to learn and use software it ticked every box in terms of capabilities.

Time saving

Tubro is thrilled with the greater flexibility and the time saved with set up and programming. In fact, they’re so happy with it, they’re already talking about purchasing their second Swift-Cut machine.
